Charlie Williams is a creator of music and musical robots. Until 2010 on faculty at Columbia College Chicago's MFA program in Music Composition for the Screen, Charlie recently moved to Bath, England to pursue creative projects full-time.

New work is focused on sound-sculpture, video, some pieces for internet delivery, and scored works that create new audio spaces for performers, through interactive audio-processing software that is designed to be intuitive to instrumentalists. The goal of these pieces is to enhance the capabilities of the instrument, dovetailing new technology with the skill base a performer has developed over years of practice.
